THE Rewa Football Club in Fiji has released three of its football players to overseas clubs. This decision follows their outstanding performances last year.

Duo Adi Litia Bakaniceva and Maria Veronica secured contracts with the Hekari United FC Women’s team in Papua New Guinea.

They arrived last week and are now in camp, competing in the Women’s Conference Soccer League in Port Moresby.

Their inclusion now strengthens the PNG Super League Champions. They are preparing for the 2025 OFC Women’s Champions League. They are also preparing for their domestic season.
Meanwhile Rewa’s Angeline Rekha also signed with New Zealand’s Western Springs AFC, marking an incredible step in her football journey.

“We are immensely proud of all three players for their hard work and dedication. Their achievements are a testament to the talent and determination within Rewa FC.”

“We wish Adi Litia, Maria Veronica, and Angelina Rekha all the best. This is an exciting new chapter of their careers. Go make us proud on the international stage.”
