THE Pom Elite Basketball (PEB) is will officially launch the 2025 season in April after a successful season last year.

PEB Director Lawrence Lahari said, “We are preparing for another Elite season of basketball. PEB calls on all interested teams to gear up. Teams should meet the requirements aimed at elevating the competition’s standards.”

He said that with the expression of interest now open, clubs and teams must meet multiple requirements.

“Coaching Accreditation; This is important to guarantee each team coaching staff holds appropriate coaching qualifications. These qualifications foster player development. They also support competitive game.”

“Fitness Level is crucial. Players must meet a baseline fitness level. This ensures all athletes are in peak condition for the season.

The PEB will invite an independent body. They will conduct fitness testing for all teams before the competition starts.

Age requirements are crucial. Teams must follow age guidelines to guarantee fair play and player safety.

“All participating teams must secure a credible sponsor. This demonstrates the team’s commitment and stability for the season,” he added.

The 2025 season is starting soon. Registrations are open until February. Preseason is expected to commence in March. The official season launch will be in April.

“PEB will open registrations for interested teams. This is the perfect time to gather your squad, fulfill the basic requirements, and prepare for the upcoming season.”

“Preseason training and preparation commence in March. Teams will have a chance to refine their strategies, improve fitness levels, and join in friendly matches.

“The much-anticipated season tips off in April. PEB invites fans, families, and the community to join us. We are celebrating the start of another exhilarating season of basketball,” he added.

Meanwhile submission deadlines for the key requirements must be met and submitted by March 01.
